Exceptionally funny was when when the news reporter said that "the plane was flying at extremely and dangerously low alititudes." THAT's when I walked away from the TV. They said the pilot broke the FARs by not being in contact with ATC all the time. An "expert" indicated that pilots are not allowed to fly around NYC without talking to ATC and as such, this airplane was in violation of the FAA.

Any other stupid things you guys hear?

Our mayor Bloomberg seemed to know more about aviation than this so-called "expert."

This was CNN, btw...
