I'm about to buy a handheld gps. What are you guys' opinions on getting a 'pure' GPS, ie GPS only, compared to a PDA based system (such as Anywheremap)?

I'm thinking this:

Pro GPS only: Not as much to fail; power on, gps on; basic simplicity
Pro PDA: Run other apps; bigger screen; ability to add XM weather

FYI the units I'm comparing are the Lowrance 600c and the Anywhere Map w/ Axim 51v
