Other answers are:
- Some folks may have worked at a location where they didn't build their time as fast as another faster paced location.
- Some folks may have held out for their airline or company of choice, or wanted to build more than the "minimum" time required to get hired.
- Some folks may have not been hired at their first interview of their airline of choice... and instead of going to another airline they waited until they could re-apply again at their airline of their choice.
- Others may have left after training and got some experience at an FBO... then came back to ATP after a year or so to build some multi time quickly.

I know of three folks that went on millitary leave. ATP is very good about that with students and instructors.
