but yeah, i admittedly have a hard time particularly with speech/conversation (TV is also particularly hard for me to distinguish speech), but i can still pass hearing exams no problem. and i can tell you that i KNOW my left ear (headphone ear when spinning) is way more shot than my right ear (monitor ear)...but again, a hearing exam would not confirm those assertions....
