Option D) Write it in your logbook with a simple explanation and move on.

If you actually did some learning about flying and manipulating a plane, take credit for the hours and don't look back. Anybody that busts your chops about 2 hours of legitimate (but hazily documented) time isn't worth working for anyway. It would be a problem if there is a pattern of "fuzzy" time in your book, but I can't see you having that tendency if you are asking this question in the first place.
