An a-typical time logging question.
It's only two hours, but....
I went to a Riddle summer camp through my HS before getting my license senior year. Part of it was some time in an old 172 with a CFI. Me and my friend Mike switched turns in the driver's seat. We flew all around Arizona (Payson, Flagstaff, I puked in the backseat so we landed in unfriendly Cottonwood, AZ). Anyways, I think I got about 2.0 out of it, but since I never got the instructor to sign my cheap little 5-page cessna logbook, I've never been able to add it to my time. Today I came across a "first flight certificate" in my file box that has the CFI's signature, number and exp. date.
Whawhat..what would you do? Option A) Ask Mike if he logged it to double check the times, make a retrospective entry in my logbook, and keep the "certificate" in there for proof. Option B) Use the number to look up the guys info in the airman directory and try to get him to sign something in my logbook. Option C) S.O.L. (Slushie's Outta Luck)
