We're having this discussion on another board right now. There are a lot of CAs that like having the seniority to get the days off they want, work as much (or as little) as they want, not have to move to another base or commute to another base, or just don't want to take the temp pay cut. Ten years ago, the regionals wouldn't have been paying well enough even at CA rates to make it a career. Now, you can.

Personally, I'd prefer the marginally better job security at a major than the bidding war at the regionals. When the time comes to move on to something better, I'll be looking at all the options before I make a snap decision. I'm sure Tenney could tell us a little about jumping to a major from a regional. Midway anyone?
