Default Re: Family history of aviation

Grandma's Cousin: Flew B-29s in the war, buzzed the family farm house with one. Shook lots of windows, scared the cows.

Maternal Grandpa: Fascinated with aviation, never learned to fly, always wished he had.

Paternal Grandpa: Had a heart condition that prevented issuance of a medical. Flew RCs for many years.

Uncle: Private pilot since 1974, instrument rated.

Another Uncle: Career CFI in Florida, too old & no desire for the airlines.

Dad: Worked on F-4s in Vietnam (Ubon), CMEL, Ground instructor, A&P IA, teaches the A&P program at a Blackhawk Tech at JVL.

Husband: ATP, Delta

Me: PPL, former F/A & instructor.

I guess you could say I come from flying blood.
