Howdy. You may want to apply at Twin Cities Flight Training at KANE. They're actively hiring right now. You'll be a "contractor" and set your own hours, so you won't have to sit there all day and wait for students, but the flight school just created a new policy that all instructors make $48 per hour (IIRC). I think $16 of that goes to the school. No twin, though. If you have your MEI, try Flying Scotchman at KMIC. I don't know if they're hiring, but their instructors are also contractors (so I've heard), and they have a nice Duchess.

I've trained out of both these schools, and also out of 21D. If you want any top secret inside info about any of them, PM me. I've also heard that Wings in STP is hiring, but I don't know if that's true. Oh, and Airlake (LVN) also has a Duchess, but I know nothing whatsoever about training there.
