Sounds like the hard drive may be dieing. My laptop just took it in the rear like a NYC pretty boy. The hard drive was failing and I would get these long periods of HDD loading, then eventually a BSOD and a reboot to the "No OS found" error message. But this did this constantly, not just when loading web pages. What kind of connection are you using for the internet (USB to modem, LAN to modem, wireless, etc)?
