Yeah but retirement and collecting a decent check would have been worth it. How much longer did you need to make O-5? Plus you are going to get your degree right? CG aviation is hurting and getting into OCS is tough but once you get commisioned you can apply right away and you can get a slot pretty quick. Either way the regionals suck and avoid it at all cost. Look at charter or cargo.
