$7000 for a charter Lear? Not unreasonable or unheard of. Especially to go from LBB to ABQ to Oakland. It's the price of having your own airplane on your own schedule. Try getting a last minute first class airline ticket and see how much they charge just because they can, and what your routing would be. I've seen coach prices as high as $1500 one way domestic last minute. Now, have your own airplane pick you up and the price goes up.
