That's one of the ATP guys there. I was another. Although I had my Private for 5 years before I started and worked at a small airport in Ohio helping mechanics fix aircraft and other airport chores. I went to Kent State University and did the Aviation program there... so I had a slightly broader background going into ATP
I had 535 Total and 325 Multi. I did the ExpressJet internship in Fall 2003 and decided to get all my ratings. Started the 90-day career pilot program on May 30th, 2005 then started instructing in October. Interviewed on the 6th of April and I'll be starting on May 8th, 2006.
Since I had the internship I saved myself a couple of grand by not having to do the RJ Standards Course... so I had that going for me.
I had fun instructing for ATP... 29 signoffs... and I still have 4 more to give before I leave for good. I could have snagged 3 Gold Seals!
