Please tell me which post does not make sense and why.
I feel I have contributed and asked relevant questions reguarding the flight profession.
The thread I believe may have prompted your response " one person on delta flight" is relevant information to someone. Although poetic, I found it interesting, as did others who read and posted their experiences of similar situations and why/ how often this happens. The post had all the ingredients of airline management decisions of routes, economics, perks / skymiles, and service.
There's probably alot of us who never knew it was possible to be the only one on a jet.
As far as my last post (immediatly after my first post on this thread ), I simply admitted to a mistake ( which turns out , it wasn't a mistake because I was not informed I was being monitored) that the post were being posted.
I'm not here to pick a bone with you or anybody else for that matter. In fact, I would go as far to say that my statements have been above all else compassionate, thoughtful, and interesting. My post of " student loan worries " , I feel ( and others, by looking at the number of hits and sincereity of responses) may have made a very significant positive impact on one's life. I know it did mine.
My post of "Fudge'n the logbook", also popular, sparked a very useful topic of how people log their time. People log their time differently, and it was interesting to see that concensus. Many people reading it may not have known logging time was done differently among pilots.
If I'm guilty of anything, it's trying to make my post interesting and colorful, nothing more. Does this fit everone's style...no, probably not. But then again, who can please everyone.
Relevance is in the eye of the beholder. I'm not trying to argue or come off preachy, it just is.
I enjoy this forum, and I hope to remain a part of it and to contribute to it. But ,to do this, I need to know how my post did not make sense. Even if my post did not make sense, I feel that hardly justifies potential censorship. I am not being rude to anyone in my post whatsoever..quite the opposite.
I like the site, and feel it provides a good service and source of information from other pilots such as myself. If this comes off as rude or condescending, I do do mean for it to, I just want to fix the problem.
If my perspective offends you, it would be easier not to respond, and just kick me off. I hope it doesn't come to that, but if it does that's your choice.
