How much do you pay your doctors, lawyers, CPA? Well, I fell that a Professional Captain as I am with 14,000 hours in a heavy jet should be paid Very Well...$150,000 a year. I dont think I should work my a$$ off for 20+ days with ALL the Responsibility and barely have enought cash just to pay rent, have a crappy car, and some food. Like for $60,000, Im laughing, well crying is more like it. At my age thats my opinion. For younger guys, that might be great. But for me thats a 50% pay cut and double the days of work so its really a 75% pay cut. Glad I can say, been there done that. Hope that helps you out. Keep Um Flying.. www.caneman.tv | Good attitude Caneman. It is good that you feel pilots are getting paid enough, and is willing to not take the job to send a message to management. Sadly, it seems like more and more experienced pilots such as you are leaving the industry and younger ones with less experience are replacing them.
Sorry for anything I said about your videos. You seem to be very different in real life then you are in your videos. |
