I would say to get your PPL at an FBO first to see if you really have a passion for flying. Some guys like the "glitz and glamour" of being an airline pilot can't don't like the training necessary.
As far as time and money goes, from information I've received, I would say a minimum of about 1 and a half years to ?, depends on you and hiring in the industry at the time. As far as pay I couldn't quote an exact price, since I am not familiar with Ari-Ben, but costs will run in the tens of thousands. Do some reasearch and you will find what your looking for.
