Well this past Friday (yesterday, Oct. 14) I passed initial new-hire indoc/groundschool for Scenic Airlines. They don't officially track scores but I think I was in the top one or two of the class (only 10 in the class). So I'm pretty psyched.
The first two guys go to the sim tomorrow, Sunday. I'll probably have a couple weeks off, because I got the lowest senority number in the class (they order us randomly with our last four SSN digits and mine is rather high) and there's a captain upgrade class starting monday so they'll get priority as well. But, that just gives me time to sit in cockpits and run through checklists. Apparently our sim is a littl, how should we say it, finicky?
Ah well ... I'm back home in Phoenix for awhile I'll be back up in Vegas a day or two before NJC05.
