I agree, more hospitals should have wi-fi. The first night after my c-sec, I just laid there all night unable to sleep or be comfortable. I'd have given anything for my blessed computer. The baby was in the NICU, so I couldn't even have him to distract me. I was fighting to get released the next day, and they finally caved a mere 40 hours after the operation. I was so mind-bogglingly bored. Not to mention tired of assorted people coming into my room to poke me, take my temperature and remove yet even more blood from my poor arms.
