Actually, according to our OB/GYN, a lot of pregnancies are induced. She also said that only 25% of women have their water break without help. So, there's really not that much of a risk of being embarassed in public. In our case, she told us everything rare that could happen did. No induction, Nessa's water broke on its own and Gavin was 3-4 weeks (depending on which dr you talk to) early.
