Yeah, I can't see any reason to move away from Austin for the time being. It's a 2 hr 45 min drive to IAH from my apartment, and I can usually get to the IAH crew room in 2 hours doorstep-to-doorstep if I fly it on CAL (about 16-18 fts/day AUS-IAH, mostly 737).

All of my friends live here, my family is in the area, I can't get enough of the lakes, hills, concerts, sixth street, NCAA sports, etc. etc. etc. Still trying to save up for a boat so I can start wakeboarding out on lake travis again...maybe in 2 or 3 years I can afford something with enough HP to pull my fat ass out of the water.

In any event, I've thought about moving back to Houston for the pure convenience of it, but I don't think I'll be doing that until some of my reasons to stay in Austin dry up...

Plus the lakes in houston have gators in them.
