Chunk, did you ever fly during some of the air demos the air groups did during deployment?
I always loved those. Never got over the geek factor. On one of our deployments, they must have done a half dozen of them for foreign officials.
They always did a flyover from behind the audience while everyone was watching something happening in front of them. It was so fun to see everyone jump as the F18 went screaming overhead at fairly low level.
No one ever got to see all of the "Cazy cool" things we did in the engineroom...
Oh wait, nevermind. There weren't any.
