So, my Dad and I headed out to go skiing in Utah last Wedensday. Getting out to SLC was uneventful and everything went as planned. We went CLE-ATL-SLC. Yesturday, we were scheduled to fly from SLC-LIT-CVG-CLE. Well the SLC-LIT leg left 30 minutes late, but otherwise un-eventful. When we arrived in LIT we had 25 minutes to get to our flight to CVG. My dad and I checked the flight board and saw our flight was cancelled

. The Delta ticket agent gave us "coupons" for tickets on Northwest. We went to the northwest gate and waited for 1 1/2 hours before the ticket agent showed up. He booked us on the 25 minute flight to Memphis and that flight was only half full.
Arrived in Memphis and walked around, went into the PGA store and went to our gate. Waited 2 hours. The ticket agent showed up and my dad asked if we could have exit row seats, becasue he is 6' 5''. The agent said no because she didn't belive I was 15(even though i'm really almost 15. So the agent put me and my dad in the first row in the CRJ-200.
The flight from Memphis to Cleveland was un-eventful and it was clear at night, so we could see all the major cities along the way. The F/A started talking to me and my dad and my dad said I wanted to be a pilot. The F/A siad really, when we land he can go talk to the pilots.
So like she said, I went up to the cockpit a minute or two after we arrived at the gate. We talked, i watched them shut down and fill out all the log-books. The FO gave me the flight plan paper with all the weigts and such. I don't know if it the flight plan, but it's the paper that the pilots get before pushback that is about 20 pages long. So I got that and my dad and I were off to baggage claim.
My dad told me to go get the ski bag and as I was getting it a lady approched me. She was like "What is that" (refering to the flight plan i had folded real small, holding it in my hand). I was like, I dunno. She goes "Yes you do." I said, "know I don't, the pilot gave it to me." She says "This is a flight plan, these aren't supposed to be in the publics hands. Are you thinking about being a pilot?"
I say, "yes"
She says "oh, would you mind if i take this from you?"
I said, "umm yes kinda"
She says " well it's supposed to be classified, nad you shouldn't have this."
Me: "well, the pilot gave it to me."
She says: "I don't belive he gave it to you"
Me: "well he did"
(Now i just saw the employee badge on her shirt and she was a
ticket agent.
Me; Well i have to go now, my dad is waiting, can I have the paper back?"
Her: "No, it is classified"
Me "well, okay, alright"
Her: "Sorry"
So, does a ticket agent have this kind of athority? Could the agent have told somebody at PInnacle Airlink about the pilot? If she did, what can happen to the pilot? The pilots were nice, and I hope that they don't go on probation or something.
So were got in at CLE at 10:40. We were supposed to get in at 7:40.
On top of that, my mom and my sisters were stuck in (for over 24 hrs) ATL because of mechanical problems. They were visiting my cousins in ATL. So they were supposed to leave at 2 pm yesturaday, now they will leave at 4 or 5 pm today.
So, how was your day?
