Keep in mind that the main reasons for the aviation divorce rate usually has to do with #1: being away from home all the time and #2: money, #3 trust....the whole cheating thing is way down the list compared to everything else.

the being away from home tends to wear on a lot on family (esp families with children) and it really takes a strong consistent (through the years) commitment to communication, staying best friends and not taking things too seriously to be able to hang through all the years of "change".
