 Re: Be1900 beeping?
I know this sound very well...I flew 1900s for several years. This is interference from the engine igniters during the start sequence that manifests itself through the aircraft speakers. It sounds more like a siren than a beeping noise...but is unmistakable.
Some pilots would pull the speaker circuit breakers to prevent the noise from permeating into the cabin although this was an unapproved procedure.
