Don't forget that with Utah in the Fiesta Bowl on the 1st, traveling to/from SLC may be more difficult than usual.

Tickets to PHX were high for that weekend. I had to really search to find an affordable fare - and am returning on the 3rd because it was a HUGE difference over the 2nd pricewise. And Southwest? Wow. All but their refundable fares were sold out, and with taxes that fare neared $500 RT...

looking forward to the party, going to the Fiesta Bowl, and the whole weekend!
