Default Re: RING IN THE NEW YEAR AT THE TAYLORS....

Ah yes, I'm about to go load-checking for the commute and I'm sure it will be interesting trying to get to work on the 22nd.

ATL-MCO is probably one of the worst routes in existence to try to non-rev on. If you want to get home from PHX allow me to suggest a "creative" routing of some kind. Go to JFK and pick up Song or try routing via DFW or SLC if possible. Failing that, fly to FLL or MIA instead and grab a CHQ flight up to MCO. Or, if you get to ATL, fly ATL to CHS or TYS or BNA or someplace like that and get a Connection flight to MCO from there. ATL-MCO always looks attractive because of all the 763s, 764s, and 777s on the route, but the loads are absolutely nightmarish. We have some MCO-based pilots that commute from ATL and they report riding in the cockpit FREQUENTLY in order to get to/from work. The one and only time I did ATL-MCO (on the 767-300 no less) I was in the second jumpseat up front ... and that was the third flight I tried to get on!!
