yeah.. and if that counselor tries to tell you, you should aim for something else - then, just get up and WALK out the door.. don't stop! cuz if you really have the "passion" to fly for a living, then you can't have people telling you "you can't/shouldn't do it" KWIM?! you need people on your side that will help you GET there....
