It's called working a tip, JT. If you get embarrassed, and your wife is making fun of you for the "gay" guy hitting on you, then you put down whatever you have in your pocket (usually a $20 for a straight, uptight, middle-aged man) to get out of there.
I've also worn only boxers and a raincoat, aka flasher, for Halloween and got very good tips from business women...had a great time doing it, too. I waited tables and bartended before military life...
By the way, and anybody that has met me can attest to this, I am very straight but very secure about who I am. I just know how to work for a tip, or get business, or make owners feel insecure!
I am also very happily married and glad to not be single any more!
