Thanks, ya'll! Took me 2.5 years working full time and flying an average of 2 to 3 times a week - all Part 61.
Believe me - if I can do this - anyone can. Just be persistant. Keep you eyes on the short-term goal (soloing, solo x/c, PPL, Instrument Rating...etc., etc., etc...) while occaisionally putting yourself in a position to achieve your long-term goals..
...i.e., NETWORK, NETWORK, NETWORK!!!!..
....and you'll get there too.
It'll be frustrating at times... you may even consider quitting.... I did... but don't. Stick to it. Keep that head down and bull-rush your goal and before you know it... you too will be a broke CFI with no students sitting on the FBO couch watching other guys go fly.
Obviously, I won't be as active on the boards. We don't have access to the WWW at our FBO, so..... I will be around. Just not as much.
