There are MBA programs and then there are mba programs. What you want to look for is if the school is AACSB accredited which is for predominately research based colleges. You can go to there website--just type aacsb in google--and find a list of schools that are accredited. At the top page you will see “accreditation”, put you curser over it, then choose accredited members for a list. Syracuse university has an IMBA (online) program that if you have significant work experience you may qualify for a GMAT waiver.
