Default Re: If your large don\'t fly SWA

Basically an airline sells a seat from "point a" to "point b".

If you need more than one seat, and it's a full flight where they've got to bump a revenue passenger in order for you to sit comfortably, I haven't a problem!

I would lose my ever loving mind if I had a business meeting which I paid full fare for a ticket to attend where I either got bumped because a large passenger who paid for one ticket took up two seats or I had to 'share' my occupiable space.

I sat next to a rather large woman on a flight from DFW to PHX once where the armrest wouldn't come down and I felt 98 degree "person" pressing against the left half of my body for two hours.

Granted the ride was free, but if I had paid for a ticket and spent two hours pressed against the sidewall for two hours, I'd be miffed.
