I had the same situation as ESF, when I was 13 years old. Now, my mom supports me and pays for my lessons (I thank her dearly). My dad likes the idea, but seems to want me to do something else for a profession. I feel ya JC, and hang in there, because it will settle. Feel free to PM me if you ever need to talk..
