Does anyone know how aviation used to be before airlines got greedy? All you had to do 30 yrs. ago was say you wanted to be a pilot, and have perfect vision, they'd put you through ground school and you were off.

Pre-9/11 Tab Express, Commut Air, Great Lakes were all hiring with 500TT/50ME. I have a friend who did an internship with a 121 carrier and was hired with 305TT/30Multi.

Oh well.... I guess its however you want to perceive it. As pilots though--all of us looking for our big break into the industry.... none of you ought to be bitching about the minnimums! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/argue.gif[/img]
