Insurance requirements are killing me in trying to up my multi time.

I'm sitting at about 140 multi 800 total right now and don't meet insurace mins to instruct in our twins [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

That's mainly because our flight school has a grumann cougar and are gonna get some duchesses, both of which I have ZERO time in....insurance required 25hrs in type for instructors. Surprise Surprise, the flight school won't pay for us to acquire 25 hrs....

I try to find an excuse to rent a twin whenever possible, although our employee discount as CFI's is close to nothing and it really hurts the pocket book. I still need close 60 hrs of multi time before I can really move "to the next level", it seems.
