Hey JustMe-

I really wasn't going to respond, but what the heck, I guess I will after all.

Do you need a degree to excell in flight school? No.
Do you need a degree to have the best chance of your choice of airlines? Yes.
Will a degree give you furlough protection? Not necessarily. But not having one lumps you in the job hunting demographic as "work truck Jeb" from Yuma, AZ with a GED.
