How would an industry as massive and necessary as aviation "fall"?

I was hoping this wouldn't turn into a drawn-out argument regarding *school choice* in relation to financial resources. I wanted to discuss ways of finding money to finance what I want to do. I want to go to Embry-Riddle.

I'm nine days away. This is no time to decide that I should attend another school!
