The reason why I didn't go running to the airlines was because I wanted the personal experience of flying actual cross countries from East to West coast. I learned a lot and have applied it to flying at the airlines.

If you don't have the experience or some sort of basis, instead of reading a book, then go get it before you have the captain working double-time to drag you along in the flight.

I'm glad I waited, but of course furloughed now.
