The SpeedBoost option, I've heard, is largely unreliable and a simple marketing gimmick.
If you're just logging onto the internet a cheap 802.11B will be fine, but if you're doing home networking and doing a lot of file swaps on your home network, 802.11G is a better choice.
If you're just logging on the internet, you won't see a difference between 802.11B, 802.11G or 802.11G w/speed boost. |
