yes Alaska has been doing some cool flying since their inception. And their safety record is impeccable. That's why I got a little upset when their name was smeared because of a maintenance mistake that led to the MD-80 accident near LAX.
You have to look at the total picture. Alaska is safe and provides outstanding service. Great airline!
I imagine any documentary of that accident would do the usual dark "cutting corners for evil profits" scam. It can't be an honest mistake, cause where's the drama and evil intentions in that?
