Those AP classes are not necessary. I took AP Calculus, AP Physics, and AP Government, last year, for my senior year in high school. Let me tell you, that was the biggest mistake of my high school career. If you excel in AP classes you take tests at the end of the semester and get college credit. I saved a bundle doing it that way.
Getting a D in an AP defeats the point of taking an AP course.
