I hope you are exaggerating enough to be at least partially wrong about this. However, what your comment says to me is:
1) Investigate any job leads with e-mail and calls to the extent possible.
2) This board is a great networking tool that needs to be used both by the job seeker and those that have jobs and know of new ones opening up.
Your post is a good warning. Let's keep helping each other out.
