I had this great route planned out today, since it was nice and sunny with no clouds to take me all over the city and out into the country around KC, but when i called the airport to see how the runaway was after the snow we got the other day he told me there was ice all over the runway. I decided still being a low time pilot it was not worth the risk of piling up a plane. Hopefully tomorrow will be good and i can spend a long day in the air visiting a few different airports. All and all I have been happy with my decision to come to CPS and i am looking forward to earning my next rating.
Great decision making! You can always count on the major airports to have good braking action with most of the snow and ice removed.
